Together, we make a difference for horses in need.

With the Good Luck horse toy, you are not only giving your horse something fun,
but also contributing to a better life for horses in need.

For every toy sold, we donate 10% to Paard in Nood Spanje. This way, you directly help support the care and shelter of horses that need it most.

About the charity

Paard in Nood Spanje has been committed to helping horses that have been abused, neglected or abandoned since 2012. Sadly, this still happens every day in Spain.

The foundation takes these animals in at their shelter Los Caballos Luna, where they receive medical care, rest and a safe environment. Many horses stay here for the rest of their lives because they are too old, ill or traumatised.

In a large nature reserve, the animals live as freely as possible, together in herds. Here, they can truly be horses again.

What your purchase means

With your purchase of the Good Luck horse toy:

- You help contribute to food, medical care and shelter
- You support the daily care of more than 150 horses
- You give horses a second chance

The foundation runs entirely on donations, so every contribution counts

 Medical care

With its own clinic, the horses receive the treatment they need to recover.

Second chance

Where possible, horses are rehomed or given a loving retirement.

Shelter & recovery

Horses that have been abused or neglected are given rest, care and a safe place to recover here.

Living in freedom

In a nature reserve, the horses live together in herds, as nature intended.

The story of Violeta

Violeta was found abandoned in November 2022, after which we immediately picked her up. Her intestines were so upset and blocked that only small balls of black soil came out.

Her feeding schedule was adjusted little by little with the utmost care and caution.

Violeta now

Violeta is doing incredibly well! She lives in her regular herd and can be found just about everywhere. The herd she lives in is not a dominant one. It is a herd that ranks quite low, but they do not seem to mind at all. You can really see her enjoying life in the nature park, especially when you look back at where she came from and how thin she was.
